Mission Statement
In response to God's goodness to us, the members of Calypso Presbyterian Church seek to share the Good News of the gospel and the love of Jesus Christ with each other, the community, and the world.
Sunday School & Worship
Sunday School gathers at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings and includes programs for all ages from the Nursery through adults. Three adult classes are held each Sunday morning: Young adult, a lecture class, and a discussion-oriented class. Once a quarter, these classes meet together for an "Enrichment Sunday" with light refreshments and a speaker or special program of some type. Our worship service begins at 11:00. Nursery care is provided for ages 4 and younger. (Resource material for Sunday School teachers and others are available in our extensive Church Library. Books, videos, and reference material fill the shelves with both secular and non-secular titles.)
Vacation Bible School
Our VBS is held in the summer. During this fun filled time, children celebrate God's love through stories, games, songs, crafts and other activities in an exciting new theme environment.
Rally Day
Our Rally Day is held in August for special recognitions in Christian Education, honoring teachers, and kicking off the new year in Sunday School.
Confirmation Classes
Confirmation Classes enable our youth in the process of making their own Profession of Faith and prepare to enter into active church membership.
Wednesday Night Live
WNL is held the first and third Wednesday nights during the school year. We fellowship together for supper @ 6:00, then @ 7:00, we break up into classes. Our classes consist of Wee Presbyterians for our younger children, Junior Choir for our older children and Bible Study for Adults. Our teens meet on Sunday nights @ 6:00.
